It absolutely pains me to see how only so few show their appreciation for classical music. I came from a concert last night and it was positively breathtaking though not so many attended and that makes me wonder why so many people would like to miss out on something like this. I mean, classical music has so much to offer to the masses. It isn’t just for those who’re sophisticated, rich or upper-classy types. Music, which is the language of the soul, can communicate to other races, inspire them, encourage them; those who speak other languages than that of your native tongue.
Oh how I wish that more and more people would come to realize the possibilities in music that lay hidden in plain sight.
Spread the love of music. We are but few who still care.
It was card-giving day. We were supposed to perform at the middle of the program but due to some idiotic section, we were put at the beginning. Most of the chamber orchestra members weren’t present and we haven’t had a decent amount of practice either. We failed at performing in front of all the parents present. In short, sumemplang kami ng bonggang bongga sa harapan ng lahat ng mga magulang. Wala kami sa timing, sintonado mga nota namin, sabog din mga namin. Gaah! I’m so super frustrated about failing! Hiyang-hiya kaming lahat. Potek. -__-
